There’s still time to see a rare exhibition of David Sinclair’s jazz photography at the Royal Albert Hall. It is showing as part of the London Jazz Festival and runs until Saturday 28th November.
He is possibly best-known for his striking black-and-white photographs which make the most of light and shadow, such as the image of Andy Sheppard above.
The exhibition features images from all across David’s career including memorable shots of Elvin Jones, Amy Winehouse, Ronnie Scott, Jamie Cullum, Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock and many more. David has become an integral part of the London jazz scene, a frequent visitor to Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Dean Street and the 606, and he has built up a reputation as a trusted friend of all musicians.
